What's in my medicine cabinet

Welcome to my bathroom cabinet lol. So everyone can see the amount of face masks I use, a few have been part of a favorites posts but I'm gonna highlight a few that I haven't before :3
This spray smells, AMAZING. Sooo good smelling. But it does leave your hair extreeeemely dry and gross feeling :/ I naturally have really beach looking hair so when I use this it's usually just a few spritz for volume.
One of my favorite exfoliaters now! I think I got this in last months ipsy bag and honestly, it's a lot better than most exfoliaters I've used. When I squeezed it out I actually thought it was a moisturizer because I wasn't able to see or feel the little bumps in it until I actually started rubbing it in my face. It leaves your face bb soft~ :-)
And my usual go to face peel when I'm feeling lazy. You have to layer it thinly or else it wont dry right, but I like it bc it looks like honey. :3

who gives a flying----

I really hate the fashion scene in San Diego. When I refer to the fashion scene I mean the non existent one, everything here is so laid back if you look halfway decent it's like "where're you going?" "going to see your boyfriend?" "why are you wearing that?" "I could never pull that off.." Which is just a kinder way to say "wow man you're dressed like a nut." I think it's crazy when people ask what the occasion is when you get dressed up. Life is an occasion, why not look you're best for it everyday or whenever your fabulous heart desires?

Wear drag makeup for all it matters, it's an art that's a challenge to master. If you walk out in perfect drag and not give a damn then YOU GO GLEN COCO. Something we discussed in my TopShop training is how we can change the fashion/street wear in San Diego, and I'm sooo praying it goes down that way. Slowly but surely perhaps. I think because everyone's so casually dressed, those who actually enjoy dressing up and take pride in their clothes don't feel comfortable being "overdressed" in such a casual setting (this applies to me for the most part) especially since we're so closely entwined with the "beach scene" wherer the usual is girls wearing sandles and crop tops and guys in jeans and tanks.

Let's say you buy some crazy statement piece that you fell in love with but don't know where to wear it to because it's too "out there" or too "sexy." WEAR IT WHEREVER THE HELL YOU WANT TO. Because why? Everyday is an occasion and a different opportunity. Nothing irks me more than someone saying something is too sexy. Usually if someone says something is too "sexy," they're 9/10 times fixated on your boobs/cleavage, which;

1. is completely uncontrollable
2. none of your business

As a big girl (DD) I know that no matter what there will ALWAYS be cleavage. As women we will always be sexualized for doing simply, everyday activities. This, IN NO WAY, should affect your decisions in how you look everyday. Dress like a Queen whenever and however way that suits you, and don't be swayed by other people's lack of taste judgements.

/end rant/ :3

Brow tutorial

Finally made a brow pictorial! I'm currently working on a full face YouTube video so stay tuned for that too :3 In the meantime this is what I do eeeeveryday step by step.

Ya start with bare brows, and gently outline your brow's natural arch (make one if you don't have one, it may take a couple tries to figure out which suits your face better) and then slowly feather down towards the center of your brow.
Now the tail! Bring it down the side until you get the thickness and length you want. I never really like to let it go too far off from the end of my eye length wise. It's ok if you mess up because that's what the next step is for, CONCEALER! It's a girl's best friend. Now you just want to outline your brow and get rid of all the extraness and make a finer line.
And then you're done.

My Skincare Routine~ UPDATED

Hellerr, since I always get questions about the things I use for my face I decided to make an updated version of the post a while back.  I've changed a few things sine then so welcome to My Skincare Routine 2.0 :>

Below, Aqua Marina by Lush | Your Skin But Bette CC+ Cream by IT Cosmetics | Cleansing Balm by No7
I had always heard good things about Lush but never really got into their products just because I just felt it was all hype based on the cutesy packaging and such so I never bothered. However I started to randomly break out and decided to change up what I was using. I walked into their store in Fashion Valley just to browse, and immediately I was helped out by one of the workers. I'm not too familiar with their things so I was asking a buunch of questions and the girl was so sweet and patient. (I'm also very attracted to the cutesy packaging ironically)
Anyway they have a huge variety of facial scrubs and what not and I ended up picking Aqua Marina because of the squishy texture :]

"Our squishy pink cleanser, inspired by mermaids" Contains calamine, aloe, and fresh seaweed :] It's handmade with fresh ingredients (cruelty free!) I love love love the seaweed it's so refreshing. When you put on the actual mask (it says pea sized but I usually put more) when it's drying it has an odd tingling sensation that I'm kinda fond of.

Next up! I adore No7 products, I actually use their facial wipes that I forgot to add in here. This is an all day/night cream that hydrates the skin. I have combo oily/dry skin but lately it's been on the drier side so I wanted something like a night cream that will hydrate my skin through out the night. I purchased this of course at Ulta where they actually have a whole section of No7 products. They have a few different facial balms but this one in particular you can even wear under your makeup which is what I usually do. I put it on when I wake up and let it dry a bit before I put on my makeup and then after I take off my makeup (also using the No7 facial wipes to remove my makeup) I feel like it's good to be consistent with what you use on your face. The actual cream itself goes on very smooth and a little definitely goes a long way. I usually find myself squishing out too much and using the left overs for my neck lol
Ah so much to say about IT Cosmetics. First off, I love it. I have a few other products by them (eyebrow wiz, creamy concealer, and creamy highlighter) and I looove them. I went into Ulta looking for a kinda of skin blemish diffuser. I was stuck between Tarte's blemish eraser or something along those lines and another one by Sally something I can't think of the names rn but they both acted and primers and skin correctors when one of the IT reps suggested I try the CC cream which basically does all that and more.

I can't express how much I've fallen in love with this product. The coverage is amazing, the glowy finish is amazing, your skin's blemishes are basically brought down to none, and to top it off it has 50 SPF! The highest I've ever had in any makeup product is maybe 30 SPF. I have to admit that's a pretty decent amount of sun protection. The thing about this line of cosmetics is that it's actually made by dermatologists that know their stuff. I would highly recommend to anyone :] Also for reference I'm in shade Medium.

Roadtrip Playlist ~

Who doesn't want some gnar throwbacks and ratchet music during a roadtrip? I've been making some trips to LA a lot this past year and I finally made a playlist a while back when we made a trip to 6flags.

My taste in music clearly varies, I toned it down a little (I was actually being considerate for my friends) but overall I think it's pretty good if I do say so ma self B) Also, Spotify is soooo worth the $10 a month js.

Most of these were taken at Seaport Village in the SD Downtown area. All pictures (as of recent) are taken with my Canon Rebel 3ti, Yoko. He is my precious precious camera child and deserved and awesome name. (in full it's Yoko Thomas) I really do enjoy taking pictures so I figured I'd share some I never uploaded xx

If I were a queen

So I was just browsing on SSENSE and there's sooo many beautifully designed clothes in the world that scream my name. For those that aren't familiar ssense is where you can purchase high fashion/designer label pieces online. I could never afford these things rn, so I have titled this, if I were a queen. Because only then would I have the opportunity hahah. Here's a bit of things I found

Marc by Marc Jacobs

I'm an obvious fan of Alexander McQueen if you can't tell. But I'm also super into this whole unisex cap/trench coat trend. Some of the styles reminded me of some of All Saint's designs. (also more high end) The only different is the coats I've chosen here are my lined and boxy where as All Saints are very drapey, totally to die for.

News and exciting things to come~

So as said before I have a lot to blog about that I'll be getting around to. I really want to get into how-tos, DIYs, makeup tutorials, fashion blogging, favorites posts, tips and advice posts and everything in between. I've lost inspiration over the past months, but it's safe to say I've regained it :]

Also look forward to another updated tattoos post now that I've got some color on my sleeve. I'm debating if I should hold off on that post until the outline is completely filled in.. It just so happens that once I finish my arm I'll be finishing up my back as well so I'll be able to share both pieces eee. I can't wait, it's an expensive hobby u.u

TopShop San Diego's Grande Opening is in a weeks time! So you know very well I'll have pictures and a post ready on all of that. From what I hear TopShop goes all out on their openings. We also get the whole day before to shop as employees. I'm stupid excited and can't wait til we're open and I get to meet everyone. I've made a few friends during training and everyone seems nice so far.

I look forward to everything n.n

Vogue's trends for fall

Some runway style's that are going to play a big part in fall fashion, already a lout of matching pieces and dark florals coming in :]

Chloe - "the new festival girl"

Altuzarra - "bohemian evening"

Carolina Hererra - "not a wallflower"

Donna Karan - "midriff baring evening"

Michael Kors - Gingham

Oscar de la Renta - "midriff baring evening"

So just a few pieces that I personally enjoy and think will be huge this season. Also I used de la renta's work last bc I feel it's symbolic. For those that aren't caught up he has passed away, and it's a great loss in the fashion world. However his beautiful gowns will continue to inspire.
